death by asphyxiation and i-phone misplacement

as children we would always ask my mom, "do you know where {insert toy of choice, or if you were me, current biography of an artist} is?" her reply was usually, "i don't know, where did you leave it?" she was always right, we just didn't always remember where we left our stuff.
one would assume, and rightly so, that as we have gotten older we would be more adept at finding our things, but as of late we have started searching aimlessly for our books, shoes, cell phones, or what have you again. we have returned to asking our mom, "do you know where, {insert toy of choice, i-phone for me} is?" her new reply is "i don't know, have you checked the refrigerator?" she, now, is usually right, we just don't usually remember that valentine has a love for placing any and all items in the little baby-v sized fridge in the kitchen's island. today when i looked over she was even trying to fit inside it herself, i laughed of course but am grateful she can't actually fit inside and instead opted to asphyxiate her baby doll and am grateful that there is a glass door so that as i walked by i could see the baby doll laying there with (for those of you concerned that valentine has err creepy-ish tendencies by freezing baby dolls) her pacifier and water bottle for comfort.
